Chasm beats Trebon! An Amazing But True Tale.

“Pulling a Chasm” has been taken to extremes. Normally “pulling a Chasm” means finishing fifth despite getting lapped. Somehow he “finished” 196th at the 2009 SSCXWC (Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships) in Portland, Or.
Finishing 196th isn’t the incredible part, I’m going out on a limb here and saying finishing 196th can’t be that hard. However, Brian accomplished this feat by never leaving Kansas City, more accurately not leaving his couch, with a severely broken finger while watching Futurama re-runs.

It gets better, he beat cyclocross bad ass, 2008 US National CX Champion Ryan Trebon. Don’t believe me, look at this.

Proof!!

Yeah, he beat that guy!

Congrats! The Golden Speedo will be yours one day.
